Have been practicing with the Pano technique I learnt from Scott Kelby's book. I also went out and got his second edition. He updated the technique for Photoshop CS3, which I have, and it is now easier. The CS3 software is more advanced than the CS2 version I used to have and means it is better able to stitch the picture and also has the ability to balance the colour. This means you do not need to use a tripod, you don't have to shoot in manual or any particular mode. You can just shoot away in Priority mode or even auto and the results will still work. This technique allows you to stitch loads of pictures together so you can really play around with numerous different option.
Heres one I did on my holiday to Scotland last week

Nikon 18-105mm vr
Here is a shot taken with my kit lens from the nikon d90. It is a great little lens and I love the results I have been getting. The shot you see here was taken in Chamonix and I have had it posted on flikr for a while. Seems to be quite popular.
I hope you like it too.
I have bought some new kit, a close up kit, some polarising filters and a nikon 50mm f1.8 prime lens, so will be posting some shots with my new toys in the near future.
